Privacy notice.

Last updated 19 September 2026

This notice explains what personal information onemanstack collects through this website, why, and what your rights are under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We keep it short because we collect very little.

Who we are

onemanstack is a software engineering practice in Pretoria, South Africa, founded by Msizi Shangase. For anything in this notice, email hello@onemanstack.co.za.

What we collect

  • Booking details. When you book a consultation, the booking form is provided by Cal.com. It collects your name, email address, time zone and any notes you add, so we can schedule and hold the meeting.
  • Emails. If you email us, we keep the message and your address so we can reply.
  • Site statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not use cookies and does not build profiles of individual visitors.

Why we use it

To schedule and run consultations, to reply to you, and to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for anything unrelated to your enquiry.

Who else handles it

To provide the service we rely on Cal.com (booking), Google (Calendar and Meet), Zoho (email and calendar) and Cloudflare (hosting and analytics). They process information on our behalf under their own privacy terms, and some of them store data outside South Africa.

How long we keep it

Booking and email records are kept for as long as we are working with you or discussing work, and for a reasonable period afterwards. You can ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Email us and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to South Africa's Information Regulator.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and its date.
